SUA originally selected Duck Creek in late 2005, with the goal of being able to bring every new partner or program live in less than 60 days. In March of this year, SUA announced its new Partner Agent agreement with Minden, Nevada based, Flying Eagle Insurance Services, Inc. (Flying Eagle) to market and underwrite commercial general liability through brokers in ten states to support the underserved construction segment, includ ing the roof ing trade.

Niche market insurer looks to Duck Creek for flexible policy management system
Bolivar, MO, May 22, 2007 —Duck Creek Technologies, Inc., a provider of policy management solutions for the insurance industry, today announced that Markel American Insurance Company (MAIC), a Wisconsin-based niche-market insurer, has gone live with its new Markel Boat Program, built on Duck Creek’s EXAMPLE Platform®.
The new system was implemented in 12 months, and will enable MAIC’s agents to rapidly quote, bind and issue small boat insurance via the web. The insurer plans to move additional lines of business to the new policy management system over the next several months.
