2005 Users' Group Meeting Recap

Duck Creek’s 3rd Annual User Flocking was held September 13-14 at The Pavilion Hotel in St. Louis, Missouri. This year’s conference, themed “Tools for Success”, focused on client experiences, the benefits achieved with Duck Creek’s EXAMPLE Platform® and tools-based approach, and the company’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLCM) philosophy.

Highlights of this year’s conference included the traditional “state of the company” address from Duck Creek CEO, Doug Roller, followed by a series of technical and business training sessions, product demonstrations, and product previews.

Several Duck Creek clients, including Auto-Owners Insurance Company, American Reliable Insurance Company, and Concord Group Insurance, provided presentations sharing best practices, case studies, and tips and techniques on their varied uses of the EXAMPLE Platform -- from rating engine to full policy processing system.

On the lighter side, many Duck Creek staff members and customers attended a St. Louis Cardinals baseball game, as well as an enjoyable reception at the International Bowling Hall of Fame, which featured dinner and bowling.
