Duck Creek Technologies Hosts 6th Annual User Conference – Thanks Customers for Loyalty and SupportDuck Creek brings its customers together to celebrate success, and share experiences and best practices Bolivar, MO, May 13, 2009 – Duck Creek Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of software and service solutions for the insurance industry, recently held its annual User Conference at the University Plaza Hotel in Springfield, Missouri, April 26th through April 29th. With the theme Accelerate, Educate and Celebrate, the three-and-a-half day event was a dynamic forum of networking opportunities and workshops designed for users and members of the Duck Creek team to share ideas and best practices. Doug Roller, Duck Creek’s Chairman of the Board, kicked off the event with a brief statement about Duck Creek’s affiliate and licensing partner Duck Creek Technologies Ltd., headquartered in London, including an update on Duck Creek’s UK customers. During the opening general session, Steve Hall, CEO of Duck Creek spoke about the company’s continuing commitment to customer success and to the ongoing development of product enhancement and new solutions. The event’s keynote presentation was made by Matt Josefowicz, Insurance Director, Novarica, which gave attendees insight into market trends in technology in his “Current State and Pending Paradigm Shifts in Insurance IT” presentation. Users were able to observe a real-time implementation, with Duck Creek’s “Product Simulator” team building and configuring a homeowners’ product. In addition, to the formal program and networking opportunities, conference activities enabled the attendees to enjoy some downtime at the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame.
