Duck Creek Technologies is Named the Leader by Celent for “Performance and Scalability”

Bolivar, MO, August 12, 2008 Duck Creek Technologies, a leading provider of software and service solutions for the insurance industry, today announced that the company’s Policy Administration System has been reported as having one of the fastest performing systems in the industry as stated by research and advisory firm Celent’s new report: Will Your Policy Administration System Support Your Future Growth? Celent prepared 28 software vendors profiles (19 profiles of personal/multi lines and nine profiles of commercial/specialty lines); providing an overview of scalability and performance tests conducted by the policy administration vendors. Metrics measured and provided by the vendors included; load scalability/transactions per hour, service scalability/simultaneous users, page/screen response time, and data scalability/number of policies.

The Duck Creek performance tested against a hardware/software configuration that cost less than $55K in total.  The test included over two million policies and with a result of less than .15 seconds for varied business transaction mix of inquiry, quoting, binding, and issuance.
