Press ReleaseDuck Creek Technologies Connects with Insurance Information Exchange (iiX)Integration Automates Manual Processes for Farmers Mutual Protective Association of TexasBolivar, MO, October 11, 2005 - Duck Creek Technologies, Inc., a provider of rating and policy administration software for the insurance industry, announced today that it has completed an integration to provide insurers with Insurance Information Exchange’s A-PLUS™ Claims History Reports through the EXAMPLE Platform®. Duck Creek client, Farmers Mutual Protective Association of Texas, commonly known as RVOS, is the first to utilize the new integrated capabilities. Prior to the integration, RVOS had been using iiX’s ExpressNet online solution to retrieve the A-PLUS™ Claims History Reports. When RVOS selected Duck Creek’s EXAMPLE Platform® earlier this year for the development of a Web-based quoting and submission system, the insurer wanted to have the systems integrated to support a fully-automated underwriting process. iiX A-PLUS™ Claims History Reports supply critical underwriting data in real-time to the Duck Creek Platform during the underwriting process for a streamlined quoting decision. Duck Creek implemented a number of efficiencies, including an automatic indicator to notify RVOS when report data expires. “Duck Creek integrated with our vendor of choice and completed the work as promised – moving us towards our goal of a hands-free underwriting solution”, stated Greg Burnett, System Analyst, RVOS. “The automation not only improved our process and accuracy but also provided us with a more cost-effective solution.” “The integration with Duck Creek’s quoting and submission system went very smoothly,” said Robby Hobbs, Client Service Manager of iiX. “We look forward to working with them on other projects which may include the integration of our Coverage VerifierSM, Credit Scoring, Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs), and Undisclosed Driver Information and VIN reports.” “We are excited to have completed this integration with iiX and A-PLUS™, and appreciate RVOS’ confidence in our team to get the job done. The ability to connect with third-party vendors is already in our toolbox, but we always like to add new vendors to our ever-expanding integration list. The added capabilities provide our existing and future clients the opportunity to gain even greater value from the Duck Creek solution,” stated Wendy Corman, Business Development Officer for Duck Creek.
