Pearl Insurance Goes Live with Duck Creek

Qualified Pearl real estate firm customers now able to purchase E&O insurance via the web

Bolivar, MO, August 7, 2007 —Duck Creek Technologies, Inc., a provider of policy administration solutions for the insurance industry, today announced that Pearl Insurance, an Illinois-based marketer, broker, and administrator, has purchased and implemented Duck Creek’s EXAMPLE Platform® to support its Real Estate Errors and Omissions (E&O) Insurance program.

Pearl launched its new Duck Creek system in June and is pleased to be able to offer small real estate firms a fully automated process for their E&O insurance. With the Duck Creek solution, Pearl’s qualified real estate customers are able to submit an E&O application, obtain a quote, and purchase coverage – all via the web; resulting in a highly cost-effective new business process. Included in Pearl’s online application is a fully integrated consumer-facing portal, a component of the Pearl Application Center found at www.pearlinsurance.com.

Pearl plans to continue to expand its use of the Duck Creek solution by taking advantage of the system’s policy administration capabilities; including cancellations, reinstatements, out of sequence endorsements, and renewals.
