SUA Insurance Company Goes Live with Duck Creek Technologies' EXAMPLE Platform® for Commercial Lines

After six month implementation, SUA provides Web-enabled, end-to-end policy administration processing to their Partner Agents

Bolivar, MO, May 30, 2006 - Duck Creek Technologies, Inc., a provider of rating and policy administration software for the insurance industry, today announced that Chicago-based, SUA Insurance Company (SUA), is in production with a new end-to-end policy administration system, powered by Duck Creek’s EXAMPLE Platform.

The implementation was completed in less than six months, and has enabled SUA to provide General Liability and Commercial Auto products to their Partner Agents via the Web. The Internet-based processing allows SUA’s partners to easily submit, quote and administer the insurer’s Commercial products.

Currently, the system is in production use for SUA’s Partner Agents with an ongoing roll-out to include the Retail Agents of each Partner Agency.

In addition to the Web-based processing capabilities, the Platform’s Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) has enabled integration with SUA’s back-end systems and easy access to the company’s data.

SUA has implemented the complete suite of EXAMPLE Platform products, including: EXAMPLE Author®, EXAMPLE Server®, EXAMPLE Express®, EXAMPLE TransACT®, EXAMPLE Templates™ for Commercial Lines and EXAMPLE Forms™.
